The Scottish Rural Parliament is held every two years, and decides on the Action Plan that will guide all of the movement’s activism. The second session of the Rural Parliament is on 5-8 October in Brechin, and we need your help to make it bigger and better than the last!
We need short-term volunteers for jobs including:
- welcoming and registering the participants
- assisting with the decision-making workshops
- looking after journalists and invited speakers
- leading visits to inspirational local projects
- helping us to set-up the event on Wednesday
If you’d like to be part of this great event, you’d need to be available on at least one of the days from Wednesday 5 October to Saturday 8 October. Scottish Rural Action will provide your travel and accommodation, if required.
If you are just interested in attending on Saturday 8th October, or just interested in volunteering for the roles as mentioned above, then please complete our quick volunteer application form.
If you want to take part in the event from Thursday 6th-Friday 7th October, and volunteer, then please register your interest in attending and indicate on the form you wish to volunteer.
If you would like to find out more, including details on our other longer term volunteer vacancies, contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator Gary Paterson on firstname.lastname@example.org.
