By car / Lift-sharing
There is ample free parking for free along the seafront in Stranraer. The seafront is a 10minute walk from the Ryan Centre. There is limited free parking at the Ryan Centre – we do ask that you are respectful of neighbours when parking.
You can also choose to offer and request a lift-share – you can do this when booking.
Stranraer has a train station off Port Rodie, DG9 8EJ. This is a 10-15 minute walk from the Ryan Centre. We suggest checking the latest timetables for your journey at ScotRail.
PLEASE NOTE: There is currently a service disruption at Ayr train station, which affects journeys to Stranraer by rail. This is due to last until at least 1st November (as of 09.10.18). We therefore strongly suggest people use our free bus if possible and check with ScotRail if they are intending to travel by rail. ScotRail are providing a bus replacement service but this does extend journey times.
There are buses to Stranraer which arrive on Port Rodie. The Tesco stop is an 8-10 minute walk to the Ryan Centre. TravelLine can assist with journey planning.
