Rocket Science is advising the Scottish Government on how best to help rural and coastal communities access the high quality advice and support that they need to track down and apply for funding for local projects. The consultation will involve community groups and funding advice providers across Scotland, to assess the extent to which community groups needs are being met, and what the focus of a national funding advice service might be. As part of this, the research is considering the role played by Rural Direct in this funding advice “landscape”.
For both community groups and funding advice providers, this is a chance to shape future support – we want to hear from you.
For community groups, what has been your experience of seeking and using support? What kind of information and support do you need? Where are the current gaps in support – or difficulties in reaching and using it? Community groups – please access the survey here (cg1.questionpro.com).
For advice providers, what kinds of funding advice do you provide for community groups? Who do you advise? What are your perspectives on Rural Direct? Advice providers – please access the survey here (ap1.questionpro.com).
