Who can exhibit?
Any business or organisation based in rural Scotland or advancing the interests of rural Scotland can apply. Spaces are limited so, if we are oversubscribed, then we will use the information you provide to ensure we have an eclectic spread of interests.
When and where is it?
The exhibition will be in the centre of the venue, where people will be accessing food, drink, workshops and the fringe programme. The exhibition will open at 5.30pm on the Thursday and close at 4pm on the Saturday. Exhibitors will be able to take part in the full programme of activities for delegates. Set up for the exhibition is 9am – 12noon on Thursday, or 1 – 3pm Thursday. Exhibitors do not have to attend their stands at all times and are free to take part in the programme of activities. The exhibition opening hours are: Thu 5.30pm – 10pm; Fri 8.30am – 2pm; Sat 9am – 4pm.
How much will it cost?
A standard space will be 2m x 2m with table, 2 chairs and room for pop-up banners.
Private sector – £500
Public sector – £450
Not-for-profit organisation turnover >1m – £350
Not-for-profit turnover <1m – £200
Local organisations based in Angus with turnover > £1million – £100
Local organisations based in Angus with turnover < £1million – Free
Smaller 1m x 1m spaces for up to 10 local organisations (within the local authority area of Angus) will also be available at a lower cost, as follows, and can choose to exhibit on Thursday and Saturday or on Saturday only:
Community organisations with a turnover under £1M – Free
Local businesses – £50.00
What is included?
- A 2m x 2m with table, 2 chairs and room for pop-up banners.
- Power is available for a very limited number of exhibitors only.
- Opportunity to hold a fringe workshop on the Saturday.
- Two delegate passes.
All exhibitors are expected to provide their stand throughout the full event, but it is not essential for the stand to be staffed at all times, ensuring that exhibitors can participate in the full programme.
When will I know if I have a place or not?
Successful organisations and businesses will be advised on an ongoing basis as applications are assessed and no later than 19th September.
Who will be attending the exhibition?
Over 400 participants in the Rural Parliament who will be leaders and activists from across range of rural interest groups such as land, health, community, food and drink, business, social enterprise and energy and senior officials in the public sector. Scottish Government at Ministerial level and policy officers. A wide range of press and photographers. Speakers and other invited VIPs. Members of the public will be able to attend on the Saturday and we anticipate another 500 guests attending on this day.
