#rural hour – broadband and digital connectivity
September 23, 2014 @ 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Our next #ruralhour is on Tuesday 23rd September from 9-10pm on the subject of broadband and digital connectivity.
This theme was one of our most frequent chosen responses to our consultation.
Whilst there are programs in place to ensure that most communities can access the internet, there are still concerns about the remaining communities, the speed of connection, mobile phone signal coverage and other related matters.
Are the current programs going to meet peoples needs or does more need to be done?
Questions for tonight are:
9pm – Q1. Let us know you are out there by telling us where you are and what your main interest is? don’t forget #ruralhour!
9.10pm – Q2. What concerns are there in your area about broadband or mobile phone signal? Other access issues? #ruralhour
9.20pm – Q3. Quick show of hands – Have you heard of Community Broadband Scotland? SWAN? Do you know how they might help your community? #ruralhour
9.30pm – Q4. Is there anything being done in your area to address issues? What works/doesn’t work? #ruralhour
9.40pm – Q5. What would make it easier for your community to address concerns? #ruralhour
